In today’s episode, we’re chatting about the behaviors that many women do that we need to stop doing. For example, overusing emoticons and exclamation marks, using words such as “I’m sorry” and “just” in everyday language, deferring to everyone else before sitting down, and taking on roles that don’t advance your career progression. Let’s collectively decide we won’t do these things anymore. We’re way too smart and capable to diminish ourselves with this behavior.

TAKE IT OFFLINE
- Take the emoticons out of your emails.
- Remove “Sorry” from your vocabulary unless you’re making a real apology.
- Sit down in the middle of the conference table at your next meeting.
