It’s a new year, and I am sure you and all those around you are anxious to try new things. I know I am! After all, it is a fresh start, a clean slate. Anything is possible. I have updated my goals thanks to PowerSheets, and have hit the ground running. I reviewed my goals with those who I am asking to support me in reaching them, some of which require me to change a few old habits. And I have quite a few ideas on just how to make those changes.
They all don’t have to work though. I just have to stay in motion.
I love this idea because it emphasizes two key concepts I want to remember in 2016. The first part, which states it all doesn’t have to work, allows me to be creative in my efforts to reach my goals. It reminds me that there is no right way. There are no rules. Something will stick and I need to continue to try until it does, which is the lesson in the second part of this concept. It just has to be in motion. I just have to continue to try. If I stop, then I automatically fail. But if I keep trying, keep tinkering with the task, I continue to grow and explore and eventually I will accomplish my goal.
So today, try something just for the sake of trying it. Try something without knowing the outcome. You never know where it will take you!
